My Time At Portia is a simulation RPG that takes place in a post-apocalypse setting. Humans are few and relics from the past are everywhere. You're trying to start a new life in a town on the edge of civilization called Portia. You will start a workshop and build things with relics from the past, but you can also choose to fight in dungeons, get friendly with town folks, kick some trees, or just explore the surroundings.

According to the story of the game, it's an optimistic view of a post-apocalyptic world, The humanity has been able to survive at the current climate change among other major social problems, thanks to people who were smart enough to survive, civilization is restored to a steampunk middle age.
It's something very interesting, but to be the first demo, it has gone very bad, because as soon as the intro finishes, the game crashes and leaves a black screen. I don't know how they left such a serious error to such a wonderful game?

The game freezes while loading after I select a New Game. Before launching the game I chose the lowest settings and resolution possible. The game may have froze and crash because of my Laptops specs. I have a Lenovo LAPTOP, Intel Celeron 1.83-2.3ghz, 2gb ram, Intel HD Graphics Integrated GPU with 64mb dedicated VM and 1gb shared. One last thing, I have not played the game yet because of the crash, but I am willing to do so again after an update. I want to write a review for this game.

I also happened to me, but with Windows 7, it is a sign that he has started from very bad foot with the alphas.

Due to the cartoony graphics, this game doesn't LOOK like it would take much processing and graphical power. However, because you have integrated graphics and fairly light specs I would suspect this is the problem. You could try reinstalling the game and restarting your laptop, just to be sure it wasn't a fluke. But the game probably requires a better setup to play properly (which may have to do with optimization of the game itself).

When I have the time I will see how it runs on my laptop.

**I am not a developer of this game.
