Mount and Blade: Warband is the first sequel for the action role-playing video game Mount and Blade. First announced in January 2009, the game was developed by TaleWorlds and was published by Paradox Interactive on March 30, 2010. Warband expands on the original game by introducing a sixth faction, increasing the political options, allowing players to start their own faction, and incorporating multiplayer modes. Reveiws of the game were generally favourable, with the addition of multiplayer the most highly praised element.
This is my favourite game ever. Sure, it doesn't have the best graphics, the best storyline and the best quests. But it has a replayability value of thousands of hours with numerous mods and an awesome modding community. The content this game offers, makes it still one of the most played games ever years after its release. Must. Have.
I really enjoyed this game thoroughly from capturing castles to meeting enemies out on the field. The battles and fighting was one of the things that really turned me on. I also enjoyed managing my towns and villages and modifying them to make it a little more convenient. The only reason I did not give it a 10/10 is the story... It wasn't very in depth and I found a few things repetitive. I however still really enjoy this game for the mechanics, gameplay, and a few small things that they added that just really impressed me. I'd also like to reccommend downloading mods with desura for M&B. It makes downloading mods very easy and fast. Plus this game is mod friendly, which allows a lot of potential for the right modmakers!
