Mirage Mac
Jul 10, 2010 Demo 0 commentsMac version of Mirage. Supports Gamepad (no rumble).
Mirage is a demo developed by eight students as an assignment at Futuregames Academy in Stockholm, Sweden. The total development time for the project was six weeks. In Mirage the player is tasked to control a swarm of glass through a hazardous and mysterious world. The goal of this journey is to try and piece together a mirror which has shattered. This in turn will hopefully return the world to its normal state.

You that played mirage previously will find that there are many improvements, such as the steering, camera and gameplay. We don’t want to give away to much of what we have done but we hope that it will be to your satisfactIon.
Let us know what you think in the comments below. All and any feedback is very welcome.

Looks amazing, never seen indie game be so conventionally beautiful.
But I seem to be having a problem.
Every so often, mostly after I die, the swarm of glass becomes unresponsive, I can move it around but only at a crawl and cannot attack anything.
This is irreversible without starting the game over.
Their might be a link between being under attack and this happening.
using Windows 7, keyboard and mouse.
Tried it in compatibility for xp and ran it as an administrator, still encountering same problem.
And it almost certainty tied to enemies attacking you.
Good game need more
Bra spel mera mera tack!
tracking . . . but is this project going to continue developing to a full version ?!
There's a chance that we will continue developing this either as part of an assignment this fall or in our spare time.
Hope you enjoyed the demo!
Thanks for trying it everyone, and for your positive comments!
KEEP_IT_UP!: We are definitely aware of that resemblance. When we first realized this we decided to look at flower quickly during the first week of working on this. After that we avoided it so that we wouldn't be too influenced by it!
looks really cool, tracking and downloading now. reminds me of "flower" for the ps3 system - inspiring example? ;)
Beautiful, TRACKING!
This looks aweosme, tracking for certain...
