Minecraft Control Interface

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game created by Mojang AB. It's development started around the 10th of May 2009. Pre-orders for the full game started being accepted on the 13th of June, 2009.
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. At night monsters come out, make sure to build a shelter before that happens. It also has music by C418.
I've renamed the old version of the game "Minecraft Classic", and will be slowly phasing it out. I won't remove it, though. Just hide it.
You can read more on the development blog, or here.
Old paid-for versions: Indev | Infdev | Alpha | Beta - All offline permanently
Play Minecraft Classic (Outdated, but free): Single player | Multi player
Old free versions: Single player survival test - offline permanently

To get the snapshot, use the new launcher available in the link below. To return to 1.5.2, simply start the old launcher and play as normal.

Minecraft is a small building game that looks like it will be very boring at first glance. You look, and you see blocks, you see animals and you see people building dirt houses. Without knowing the mechanics, it cannot be understood. However, once you play, you can suddenly see why people enjoy the game. Minecraft is portrayed as a building game. You put blocks down and build things, which is reflected in the only easily accessible free version. Minecraft is NOT simply a block building game. It…

You know what would be a cool & good idea?
A Wooden Redstone block, crafted by surrounding a Redstone dust with wooden block. It can be a sort of "wiring-in-walls" and if there is a source of energy, you can make ceiling wiring easily and nicely without having 3 row of block occupying a huge chunk of space.
I played the Xbox version and good god, those controls are ****.
It's like I'm playing on the PC version with xpadder or some **** and I just assigned buttons to keys somewhat randomly.
Everyone are good at different types of controls. Personally I'm terrible with analog sticks but I'm great with d pads so I would assume that I would be doing terrible if I was playing minecraft on the xbox. I do enjoy the control method for pocket edition though.
It's not the controller that's the problem. The problem is that it seems like they just assigned the controls without much thought put into it.

Hey I've been having trouble running Minecraft on my craptop although I have a desktop that runs Minecraft at light speeds. I always don't have access it to it all the time. I went on Can You Run It but it says can run it but is still lags like crazy even on shorter render distance.
My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo
RAM: 2.5 Ram
GFX:Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family <<---The worst GFX cards ever
Are you expecting to run Minecraft without a lag on these specifications? Minecraft does lag even on my 4gb RAM Intel HD graphics probook wihout OptiFine. Just because it shows you can run it, it doesn't mean it won't lag.
There are two options - Add more RAM, certainly not on all laptops so if you don't wan't to risk get Optifine mod.
Good luck :3
Found a solution I found a java update that made it less lag just change render distance and the java running.
Also, it seems that you lack RAM. Here:
