We are excited to announce that Minecraft 1.1 is out!
Jeb and Jon have been hard at work squashing bugs and creating amazing new features.
Below is a list of some of the added features:
- Bow Enchantments
- Golden Apple recipe
- New language translations.
- Slightly smoothed colour transitions between biomes
- Reduced brewing time to 20 seconds
- Added spawn eggs to creative (the colours of the eggs even look like the mobs)
- Added world type options (currently only super-flat and default)
- Removed collision box from ladders
- Sheep eat grass and regain their wool
Plus many bug fixes!

so did the crops get the fix so they dont get trampled? I know it was in one of the weekly things but did it make it to 1.1?

I know its intentional, but they had changed that in one of those weekly patch things. What I want to know is did they put it into this version?

This game keeps getting better, just wish there was a little more modding support. Oh well, there are a lot harder games to mod out there :)

how about making the world types as plugins? that way users can distribute and manipulate their own algorythms. maybe make the "official" algorythms marked different, maybe keep them inside the minecraft.jar.
Meh! I played the game. Yes I had fun!
But I got bored of it, and it really overuses polygonal boxes! I know it is a style, but I couldn`t take it anymore!
Doom looks better! What the game has and it is good is the community to keep the game alive and fresh, but anywho I`m not a part of it. This is not a review, it`s a personal thought.
Also fans please lower your ego, it is always good to hear someone`s opinion not only yours. I`m saying that because there are lots of you!
