ESP Games present Miasma 2, the sequel to 2010's turn-based strategy hit. Take control of Paul or Lina once more, and command your elite squad of freedom fighters in battle against the oppressive Vilhelm Industries. With an all-new turn-based tactics/real-time battle system, the action runs fast and thick, and with new units to command - and a whole new graphics engine - this is one adventure not to be missed. Miasma 2 gives turn-based strategy an unexpected twist as you must plan your entire team's orders at the start of the turn, then hit commit and see how it plays out. Will your courageous flanking manoeuvre pay off or will you be caught out of cover? Included is a single-player campaign, continuing from one year after the events of Miasma 1, a survival mode, where you can pit your skills against waves of increasingly more difficult enemies, and post your scores online against the best Miasma players worldwide, and a New Game+ mode, where you can keep amassing those upgrades.

Miasma 1 is so much better. It was a true TB game system. M2 uses a WEGO system and it just does not work well with this type of game. I wish they just could of polished the frist one and add more stuff. Too bad they totaly changed the game to not even feel the same.
Oh and between missions in your base its a crappy FPS view. Its pointless and slow and very agro for me anyway
If intrested get the first one as its just better but kinda short.

.
Get M1 pass on M2

I'd be interested in buying a "pack" which included both the first and second games at least. Might make it a bit more lucrative. Demos made the game seem interesting but I'd like to know roughly how long each game takes to play through etc if possible

Played the demo. Pretty cool, love turn-based! Music's annoying. Didn't see an option to shut it off! Probably purchase if I can get rid of the music (but keep the other sounds). If I can't, I won't. [first thing I do with any game is kill the music] Thanks.

OK just bought the game. Wish i could take my rating back.

Very ,very slow, and agrivating controls. Animations are very poorly done. It takes him 12 seconds to crouch.
Unrealistic explosions.
Tutorial makes you restart the entire game is you make a mistake.

Camera was programmed by a drunk person.

@$3 it is a bit pricey. I would have a hard time paying even $1 for it.
Game is not properly packaged. Desura took 5 attempts to get the game, and all the resources insteallled.

Wish i would have tried the demo before buying. I was expecting something more on par with kings bounty, or elven legacy.

Beutiful graphics, and amazing they could stuff all the content that they did into a ~300 meg package. Too bad the game design is flawed.

You confirm your actions, and then have to confirm that you confirmed. WTF!?!?!
My real rating is now 2/10.

You would have to be a very , very hard core turn base fan to enjoy this.

TRY THE DEMO BEFORE BUYING!

You know you can edit the contents of your actual review not just the number rating but I wouldn't because its hilarious.

Ah man, we're gutted you didn't like the game!

Some of animations might seem odd as the game goes into slow-mo (during the planning phase), it definitely shouldn't take Paul 12s to crouch down at real-time. :P

If you can pin down what it is about the camera that you don't like, we'll revisit it.

We're planning to work on a 1.1 patch, so we'd like to hear your feedback.

Thanks,
David

i had to laugh.. this game has nothing at all to do with kings bounty OR elven legacy. why would you associate them? its the picture of the guy holding a gun right?
