A beat 'em up/platforming/fighting game hybrid with an electro style. You can smack guys, attach their parts and get their abilities!

Reptile is doing wonderful things with this game. It's art style, music, and gameplay are all wonderfully mature for an alpha state game. It's 100% worth what they're asking for it right now, and I can only see this game's quality increase with promised bug fixes, new parts, levels, and other features on their way. Reptile has shown themselves to be attentive to the concerns of the community and I have faith that this final product will be a very memorable experience. There are problems, but that can only be expected of a game in alpha. If anything, this game exceeds my expectation of alpha games altogether.

A fun game, to be sure. It definitely plays like Smash Brothers, but it also has a Metroid feel when you start exploring and looking around for hidden items. The music is great, having a techno theme (not sure what else to call it). I especially like the boss music. The graphics are like retro, yet modern at the same time. Even the text looks computer-like. The colors work well, too, although the enemies (and you) can often seem bland when they're using just one to two colors, but at least you can change your color, and there are some multi-colored (and bright, I must say) options.
The gameplay offers something even Smash Brothers don't offer, and that's the ability to customize your character with parts. I always enjoy games that have that. At this point, there are a lot of parts, but not much variety in attacks and stat boosts. However, I'm sure that will change as this game continues development. The controls work fine, although I noticed when using a gamepad, one direction is reversed, which I believe is the X-axis. However, I have a workaround, so it's not an issue for me. But because this game is probably best played with a gamepad, I hope the control issues are fixed (and they probably will). That is why I'm giving this game a 9 instead of a 10, but when everything is worked out, it can easily be a 10.
If you like these kind of games, or are a fan of Smash Brothers, get this game now. You will love it. It's current price is small compared to what this game will have when it's done.

calificacion: 9 pyros!

Completely trashes the traditional pre-conceptions about alpha and in-development games. Very nice production.
Graphics are great, music is great, and gameplay is tight and responsive. Some of the level design is a little obfuscated and makes exploring every nook and cranny pretty time-consuming, but the environments all have their own subtle style, and scripted battles are paced nicely throughout.
Highly recommended.

Spent 10 minutes with the game and love the art style, love the concepts, love the armor setup, and love the story behind the game. The game seems to be very much setup for use with a controller but otherwise I love the game. 100% a must buy
