Mayhem Intergalactic is a game with simple rules giving rise to rich strategy. Each session lasts only 5-15 minutes, yet there is enough depth and replayability to keep you occupied for hours at a time. In a nutshell, it's a turn-based 4X-like strategy game, providing a streamlined version of the gameplay found in other turn-based strategy games. There is no resource micromanagement, allowing you to concentrate on strategy and tactics instead. Also, there's an alien wearing a monocle.

A pleasing announcement, and a request for feedback on what achievements should be in the game.

I'm very pleased to announce that Mayhem Intergalactic will soon be available on Steam. This will serve to expose the game to a wider audience, and has sparked the development of some additional features to ensure that it plays nicely in its new Steamy environment. One of the new features will be a stack of achievements, for extra bragging rights and that warm fuzzy I-got-100%-in-this-game feeling!

I'm currently seeking feedback on what achievements the game should have, so please head on over to the official Mayhem Intergalactic blog and voice your opinion! I value your feedback highly and promise to take all suggestions seriously.

No need to wait though - the game is already on sale from my website, in non-Steam form. Achievements will also be available in the non-Steam version via a free update, as will all other future features, so you won't be missing out on anything if you get it now.
