Man, this year already gets its year word: workaholic! It’s really hard to find some time for writing, but we have some new stuff we want to share with you. So this time short and to the point:

Man, this year already gets its year word: workaholic! It’s really hard to find some time for writing, but we have some new stuff we want to share with you. So this time short and to the point:

We’ve made a pre-alpha trailer for a local pitch in Vienna called Subotron Live-Pitch. This is a great chance to present MARZ RISING to a jury and the public – so we are for sure pretty exited how this will end up.

and…. (drumroll) double u double u double u. marzrising.com is now online. maybe a bit empty for now – but hey – so there is space for the cool upcoming stuff and the domain is ours – ha!

The last two month we worked a lot on the in-game UI, because our gameplay is strong connected with the UI. The mission menu is also growing like you see on the image on top. The first building and tower models are implemented in to the game (without textures). We have started with the zombies as well and the concepts are already…well… pretty ugly, in a good way ;) so with the next post we will start a small series about: „from concept to model“ – promise!

Again, looks great. Seeing as you zoom quite far out to keep an overview of the battle, will you still clearly see the difference between zombies? Perhaps do not add to much details in the zombies if they are small on the screen most of the time.
