When John "Striker" Gullivan left the SAS, he's been far from thinking about retirement. A skilled sniper, veteran of many covert operations, he was ready to take on the less legal side of the "business". Working closely with his friend Max - one of the best hackers there are - he quickly earned his fame among other mercenaries and private agencies. Yet, he was cautious enough to avoid standing openly against any legal government. He was even taking semi-official jobs that were too dangerous or too politically risky for any government agenda. This was an easy life. Until now. Key points: * 5 different chapters full of action. * Sniper gameplay preferred * Bullet ballistics * Challenging missions * Realistic weaponry.

Although this felt a bit of a waste of time, i'l do my best to give a reasonable review instead of just a random number.

First thing to note i played the game through in full. (Not sure if its a plus or a minus, regarding the review.)But atleast i finished the game.

Well Manhunter is basically a corridor-shooter, with little to no freedom of movement. It's so on-rails that there was a part early on in the game that forced me to backtrack a few steps because the VO didn't appear in time. Well thats my terrible start, lets get on with it.

GRAPHICS:

Terrible, bloody terrible. Dull colours, overrall bleached scheme. The only nice thing that i found was the glass in the tower level, but thats not saying much.

SOUNDS, MUSIC, VO:

Guns sound anemic, Music is repetative to a point of annoyance, Voice work is decent, about as much effort was given from the actors as expected.

GAMEPLAY:

Bullet-sponges.. Thats it, nothing more. The most effective kill is a headshot and the AI is stupid enough to stand in line for the shots. And on multiple times, i found that the AI managed to get a perfect shots with an Mp a long distance away, whereas i had to use almost a whole clip from an AK. Don't even let me get started on the hud, the aim cursor is useless and the guns spread so much that you are forced to use iron sights most of the time. The "feature list" said Bullet physics. Its in there, but only to serve as an annoyance.

Oh, and as a minor gripe; The Cosmodrome level, trying to climb the ladder when theres even one soldier alive, they will keep shooting you down the ladder. So after the 12th attempt i managed to climb the ladder without the soldiers knocking me off all the time.

The previous is not a spoiler, its a written PATCH.

Graphics - reasonable. Storyline - unknown didn't get far enough to judge, its also an FPS game so expect it to be minimal at best. Controls - VERY sensetive, had to reduce mouse sensitivity out of game to make it playable. Audio - Voice acting was OK, repetative music got annoying, but the game was too quite without it, other sounds ok.
This game would have scored higher than the 2, if not for 1 thing. It kept on failing missions DURING CUTSCENES. Gave up playing it.
