Malfunction is a universe full of mystery and the unknown. Though one thing that lurks around this universe is what most fear; the Plague. The Plague is a fierce virus that consumes anything in it's path until it is stopped. The Malfunction series is built around this dilemma.
Malfunction is a story driven puzzle game mainly about a snow planet named "Khaugin", that is being taken over by a dangerous weapon known as the 'Plague'. You play as a repair-bot known as 'Dwenguil' who was sent to Khaugin to destroy this threat. Not only can the Plague destory worlds, but they could spread and consume the entire universe.
The game is mainly about puzzles and action. The game has multiple gamemodes as well as a 25 level story.
Malfunction: Outbreak takes place before the events of Malfunction. You will play in the boots of Mark (one of the characters prior to the first Malfunction) as he explores many planets while blasting his way through hordes of many enemies with a huge arsenal of unique weapons.
The game is an FPS that mostly consists of fighting your way through enemies while exploring many interesting environments. Malfunction: Outbreak's goal is to bring back the old nostalgia from what the classical FPS games brought that redefined gaming.
Hello again! I've finally made it a bit earlier this time! Anyways, I have MANY things to show you all, so let's get to it.
I have released another update for Malfunction: Outbreak (6.0), and one thing I'd like to point out is the game has now reached it's beta stage! Anyways, let's discuss the update.
I have added music to all levels of the latest chapter, but one thing that has DRASTICALLY improved the game (not only visually but performance as well) is adding fog to all levels of the game! You are able to disable it in the settings if it's something you'd rather not have, but let's see some examples!

Malfunction has also received it's next update (1.3.0), and this one GREATLY improves all of the Menus/HUD. I believe it is safe to say that at least EVERY menu was changed in some way or another. Here are some BIG examples;
(The HUD has been re-designed to look and act more smoothly)
(ALL hints/message boxes have been re-designed)
(The objectives have been MOVED to the pause menu)
