Long Gone Days is a 2D modern-day military RPG set in our current time, inspired by dystopian literature.

Take the role of a deserter looking for a way to prevent the imminent war his homeland is trying to provoke.

The game tells the story of Rourke, a soldier from The Core, an isolated settlement below the surface of the Earth. After discovering the dark truth about an operation he's part of in Kaliningrad, he decides to abandon his post, not realising the consequences of deserting an inescapable war.

Hi people! It’s been a while since we updated our IndieDB articles, so here’s a summary of the most relevant news:

As you can see on the GIF above, enemies are now animated during battles! We are also adding more animations depending on the weapon and/or skill used.

Another important addition is that portraits are now animated:

We’ve also been working on tons of new maps, characters, outfits, but we don’t want to spoil too much (at least not yet!) but here are two of our favorite screens:

^ One of the vending machines you'll encounter through your journey.

^ This scene should be familiar to the people who played the demo.

That aside, we also made this little animation to celebrate the anniversary of the demo:

That’s all for now! As always, remember you can follow us on Twitter, Tumblr and Facebook for the latest news!

Hi there. There's a variety of male and female characters, but this isn't a dating sim. You can build trust and bond with your teammates, but not in a romantic way.

I'm 20 minutes into the game and very much enjoying it so far. Especially the aesthetics.

Might be an odd question, but are there plans for control pad support?

Thank you so much! There is support for xbox controllers. When you plug the controller in, sometimes you need to press either A or B for it to start working, then it works just fine.
