Design, build and wire up your own unique robot to complete challenging logic puzzles. LogicBots is a puzzle game where robots are used to complete the various levels. Sometimes the LogicBots will be controlled by the player and other times they will work independently to complete the puzzles. In both cases it will be up to the player to design, build and wire their LogicBot to meet the requirements of the level.

Why Early Access?
"LogicBots is a complex game and it requires community input to help improve the user experience. Early Access will provide much needed feedback from a large audience for key parts of the game such as the tutorials, the user interface and the difficulty curve of the levels."

How long will this game be in Early Access?
"LogicBots still requires visual work to be completed. Until now the focus has been on making the core of the game but now I will be able to improve the visuals and theme the five areas to the game. LogicBots will remain on Early Access until the visuals are done, a complete sandbox mode is finished and I have updated the game with the comments I receive from feedback. Therefore I expect Steam Early Access to last at least 6 months."

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
"The main differences will be the following:

  • The theming of the five areas will be completed
  • A larger number robot parts allowing for more choice in construction
  • Additional tutorials to cover more complex circuitry
  • A full sandbox mode
  • Integration into Steam with achievements and possibly Workshop

There may be other additions based on players' feedback."

What is the current state of the Early Access version?
"LogicBots is complete from a functional point of view. This means the game contains four tutorials and all the levels and challenges allowing you to play the game from start to finish."

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
"It is unlikely that there will be a difference in price between Early Access and final release of LogicBots."How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?"If you take part in the LogicBots Early Access you will be able to submit feedback from the main menu within the game itself. The feedback may be a bug that you have found, a suggestion for an improvement or your experience with a particular level. I will be encouraging players to give me feedback in particular for the tutorials as this is one of the key areas of LogicBots to get right as it will make the game more accessible."
