Light In The Sky: Episode One Windows, Mac, Linux game

Sorry for lack of updates guys/gals. I'm busy working on quite a few projects.
One being this game, but I have other products I am trying to finish up / make.

I uploaded a new image for you guys, just so you can see some progress on game.
I hope you think the quality is good! Keep in mind the map is entirely practically empty. However, I've been spending a good week or so just tweaking settings and making new Materials for the main texture for the map.

It could potentially even change again, just depends.
I want nothing but perfection released!

Sorry for the lack of updates guys, just trust me soon, soon there will be an update (I am working daily) on this game, I just don't want to show unfinished stuff, at least to a point. If I decide to add a tiny minute detail later who cares. But right now I'm just trying to get a trailer made, and I'm trying really hard to get this to be enjoyable for everybody to watch and hopefully bring excitement about this game.

I've already shown a couple people how this will look and they are definitely sure this game will live up to what I'm doing with this.

Hey there everybody, this is just a small update to let you all know what's going on.

I want to first off assure everybody that the game is getting worked on DAILY, lots of exciting things are happening for Light In The Sky. Such as working with Trinus 3D, we are streamlining Virtual Reality into the game for the cheapest possible VR device you can get literally for around 30 dollars USD (if you have an Android Phone). Granted it may not be as good as the Oculus Rift, I may or may not offer direct Oculus Rift Support, as the price is very expensive and I am trying to get VR to work in the every day average joes house, working with my friends at Trinus 3D this is very possible.

What this means is, you can get their free app on Google-Play - see if it works, (as it's timed) and if it does, they have the full version for 6 dollars. That's literally all it costs, aside from the HeadMount you get for your mobile device, the first one I got was 13 dollars on Amazon. I do however recommend a better headmount, but if you're wanting to quickly explore the world of VR in Light In The Sky, you can't go wrong! But for now, Trinus 3D only works with Android phones according to the creator.

But now to the game its self, I have already made 2 versions of the Intro Log scene, I may make another, - I am trying to find the best possible levels for the game, so I always make 2-3 different versions of each level and pick which one I decide fits best. This way I have choices. So I want to assure everybody that the game is definitely getting worked on every single day 7 days a week. I will have a trailer soon, but I don't want to put one out that is stupid, I want to make sure I bring it out as professional as possible to give y'all a beautiful game!

I have some rather exciting news for everybody!
As we all know, the oculus rift was just set out for preorders, and so on.

I was hyped and wanted to get one, until - the deadly price!
So I went off on a venture, and figured out how to make my very own VR Headset for the PC, and I succeeded! All for the whopping price of *LESS* than 30 dollars! (Excluding Phone).

What I did was, I went on Amazon.com and ordered a 13 dollar pair (8 dollars overnight shipping). of VR Goggles for my phone. I then got an App from the app store and now I literally have (Headtracking (at least rotations),position tracking is available, I just don't have sensors for that), beautiful Stereo 3D, and so on.

I will be updating website, there will no longer be any Anaglyph 3D (Red + Cyan Glasses). As know matter how many ways I tried - the colors just couldn't come out right the way I want without hundreds of lights for every nook and cranny.

So I will be updating the 3D page on website to show you step by step what I had done. All for less than 30 dollars!

Granted it may not be the best quality in terms of competing with the Oculus Rift, but hey - it's very cheap PC Virtual Reality!
Now depending on how powerful your PC is, you may have to lower the screen resolution - but I've got mine to the highest possible resolution without *ANY* Hiccups at all! So with that being said - Light In The Sky will now have NATIVE Support for 3D Stereoscopic Rendering! (As mentioned before - it is not REQUIRED) but the game WILL be built around optimization around it. Now I MAY still include 3D TV/Monitor Support once I can test that part out.

I will have a dedicated website very soon! I had just purchased a domain last night. Have to wait for it to propagate to the proper nameservers and I will start building a Website guys!

Also, sense this game is going to play like an old VCR movie I figured I'd as well add in a special features. Old Anaglyph 3D!

Of course - the game doesn't have to be played in Anaglyph 3D, it will be just a choice.

Also - there will be support for 3D Monitors as well!
