GREETINGS ALL YOU GAMERS AND HORROR FANS!

Wow, it must have been ages since my last news article!! I am so sorry to the fans who follow the updates on "Kitty" and have to wait centuries for any new info. I promise to try and be faster in the future! With that being said, let me confirm something real quick (so I can ease everyone's mind...) Just because I don't post anything here for suspiciously long periods of time, doesn't in any way mean that "Kitty" has been cancelled or abandoned or anything like that (I will be sure to let you all know in a news post if such a tragedy will EVER occur but no worries, I can literally 100% guarantee you that you will never EVER have to worry about this game getting cancelled, I am determine to finish what I've started). Now with that out of the way! Lets get to the new updates! Which I am sure some of you are very eager to hear (Well I sure hope so! Because this news is exciting).

So let me say something really quick about Kitty's platform engine (ya know! the thing that makes the game work with the gravity and the physics, etc, etc...) in its early stages... it was atrocious. The engine was very horribly buggy and choppy that it was actually kind of embarrassing to see (actually it wasn't that bad, I am just a perfectionist and dramatic about these things haha). So what did I do about this "horrible" engine that I have been dealing with for so long? Well I decided that I had to halt production on "Kitty" to do some research on how I could improve this engine and iron out all these awful bugs... And after a couple of weeks leading up to today... Do you know what happened? I REMADE THE WHOLE ENGINE!! THAT'S RIGHT!! I completely reworked Kitty's engine (which was a dangerous gamble) and created something that has officially blown everyone's mind (including mine) inside and out! It is so so much better than it's predecessor that it almost brings a tear to my eye! The main character feels like he now has weight to his body, he controls like he is actually there! And now, the game feels just like a quality platformer! There is even momentum that builds when you move across the screen, and there is a bit of a slide effect right before you stop! But my favorite part, is that now the harder you press the jump button now determines how high you jump (before, pressing the jump button made you jump at a predetermined height even if you lightly pressed the jump button, but now, with this new engine, you can plan your jumps or jump cautiously over obstacles and such). Trust me on this, the engine has definitely broken new grounds for me (and new mechanics for future puzzle possibilities as well). Once you guys finally get to play this game (release date still unknown, I really am sorry about that) you will agree that something about the controls just feel so right! But what's even better now (I had not plan for this, for this was a happy and unexpected accident) the game now officially runs at a very smooth and awesome 60 FPS because of this new engine! So that is very exciting!! "Kitty" is really is growing into something incredible!!

So that is the major news (I hope it got you all pumped!) but before I go, I just wanted to mention one last thing about "Kitty" and what you should expect once you dive into its world of horror. I decided recently that I now want to try and implicate various "retro" gaming references into "Kitty" just for fun (Expect references from games like Mega Man, Castlevania, etc). But the main thing you should expect is.... Well... Expect "Kitty" to get very.... Weird...

What I mean by this is that... Expect the game to turn into something strange and unusual (as you progress in the story). If you want a clear understanding on what exactly it is that I am talking about, please go and take a look at my last video game that I released a few years back "Slime Bomb Knight" (Free to play!!)

The download link is on my profile page, here's the link (DO NOT USE THE LINK ON MY OFFICIAL WEBSITE FOR IT IS NOW DEAD, I GOTTA FIX THAT WITH A NEW LINK SORRY!!! SO HERE'S THE OFFICIAL ONE):

Once you play it, I think you will know what to expect with "Kitty" and how I make my video games. ;) That is it for all the news today! Also, be sure to check out the new screenshot I posted (I might even do a new trailer in the future...) Peace out! And stay turned for any more updates!!! :D :D Bye!
