Had to redo a few things, but IndieDB has to reuathorize every upload so I couldn't edit the other one.
Key of Ethios is a 3D action-adventure game in the vein of modern Zelda titles. In it you play as a party of heroes, each with their own unique abilities that allow them to traverse the world and overcome a wide array of obstacles and enemies. The game focuses on this group as they face off with an organization that's dead set on capturing one of their companions.
So I've decided to stop not doing stuff and actually start not not doing stuff by finally getting around to building a level. This one in particular is unique from the final game, and takes place before its events.
Our heroes receive a missive from a small settlement far distant from the hustle and bustle of Highmill. From what they can gather, it seems that a while back the old count retired, leaving his son in charge. Since then, he's taken to inviting the town's young women to his manor, and they're never seen again.
The town wants to hire our heroes to investigate the manor, see exactly what has happened to their sisters and daughters, and rescue them from their plight.
Ellie being Ellie immediately has the perfect plan: she'll infiltrate the manor as one of the Count's 'guests', gathering intel and prepping for a breakout. The demo will take place at the climax of her plans.
