The game begins when one of the Sleeping Spirits awakens and gives life to a new-born soul for the first time. He offers to play a game of Karma, to which the soul agrees, so it is incarnated in a body of Pip in a strange surrealistic world. As the plot unfolds, Pip tries to understand what he is and what is his goal, and eventually he realizes that the purpose of this incarnation is to unite three warring peoples and save the world from destruction.
