Today, we are reaching a major milestone in the development of Island Defense by releasing a first alpha build to the public. The purpose of this alpha release is to gather early some feedback, comments and bug reports.
This is of course a work in progress, and there are a lot of elements and features missing, and possibly a few bugs too! At this stage, we’re mostly interested in getting your feedback on the overall feel of the game and its core mechanics.
Please try to take note of what felt awkward or confusing to you, especially on your first play. Keep in mind this is a game designed to be played on mobile device with multiple fingers touching the screen at the same time. And of course, we would be delighted to hear your ideas and suggestions on how to improve the current game.

We look forward to hearing from you!
Fun game so far, but I would add an upgrade system that can be accessed after each wave or after a few waves. Also the recharge of the missiles seems to fast making the game a bit to easy. Overall it's a very fun game so far and excited for its development.
hey good game though i did beat both chapters on first try. maybe make the missile bank based on number of houses still alive or something like that. i dont think an upgrade system would be a good idea at this stage but maybe eventfully make an upgrade system based on beating a chapter lets u upgrade for better stuff in the next chapter. just a few thoughts, great start though and will be following the game ;)
Thanks for the feedback guys, good suggestions! We're still experimenting on how to approach the powerup/upgrades for the game at this point. Upgrades are tempting but we're trying to keep things simple too so it's a bit of a dilemma right now :)
Victory.. on my first try :P
Interesting, but why go for 3D when 2D would have been easier and looked a lot better?
I like the music and theme, but I also think a game like this could use more humor :P
It's also very unclear where the meteorites can hit, because of the graphics.
Adding fog a slight fog/tint to the bg would help. Or you could experiment with outlines.
