The next installment in the Iron Grip series from ISOTX, the makers of Iron Grip: Warlord, Iron Grip: Marauders is an upcoming browser game unlike any other!
Using the Unity engine, Marauders is a turn-based strategy game where players assume the roles of airship captains able to take advantage of research and engineering to create an entirely unique army to combat enemies with. Players are invited to experience the world their own way - choose to fly solo or fight together with other captains in alliances, deploy troops onto a variety of dynamic maps for glory, and research new technologies to defend or destroy. The options are yours. The fight is yours. And, with Iron Grip: Marauders being promised to be free to play for all, the fight is everyone's.
Iron Grip: Marauders is currently in closed alpha within the company. Public beta signups are coming and will be announced through ModDB in May and June 2010. We're looking forward to showing you what we've been up to - stay tuned!

Deligent team. I wonder your success. Plz consider more at graphics.
I'm always really proud to see a mod for any game go to being a full indy game, great work guys,I wish you the best of luck for the future and I'll be tracking ;D
Lookslike we will get eaten by a 30t shrimp. *shrugs*
Totally disappointed that this is a browser game. I am dying for more Iron Grip after Warlords, but browser games suck balls. Hopefully the next release after Marauders will be a proper follow-up to Warlords.
How .. Or rather *who* is it that +'d this guy? Why be negative about the fact that it's a browser game? .. How about giving it a chance? Only thing you prove by saying "browser games suck balls" is that you're narrow-minded.
The browser game technology may not be as advanced, but gameplay is truly key, when creating an RTS ..
This is very promising, turn based combat system, interesting setting and units have pretty ok scale compared to each other, can't wait to play it.
P.S.: Great for giving Managed Programming a chance, Can you tell us if you've gotten yourself a sourcecode license? And do you intend to write in jScript or in C#?
Are you going to adapt a "Pay to Win" model like Battlefield Heroes? You already do with IG Lords of Atelia, since this seems to be normal for browsergames...
Also, love the bonus in Lords of Atelia from playing Warlords, please add more mechanics similar to this one.
Even after reading through all the comments I still feel very skeptical, but... I mean, Iron Grip (the original mod and game) wasn't exactly great, but I have high hopes!
