Insurgency 2 is the commercial sequel to popular Half-Life 2 mod Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat, which won ModDB's Player's Choice Mod of the Year award in 2007. It is a focused infantry combat experience, with numerous tactical gameplay elements. Weapons behave naturally with features such as free aim and 3d scopes. The environments are focused, and the game includes both multiplayer and cooperative modes.

It's been a while since we've had a presence on here, but surely we are no strangers to this network. Many of us were involved in two of the first place ModDB Mod of the Year winners - Red Orchestra in 2004 and Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat in 2007.
