Infinite Shooter is a top down arcade shooting game, also known as a "Shmup", with the emphasis squarely on the action. With no story in the way of your fun, simply choose an opponent and take them down to earn powerful weapons, upgrades, ships, and power-ups! With an infinite number of stages to play and a continually scaling difficulty do I even need to say more? A few of the features are: 1. Procedurally Generated: No level is the same twice 2. Lotsa Customization: 13 ships and 15 weapons 3. 10 Crazy Powerups with combinable effects 4. Unlimited action

Billy,

It's not a BAD game at all. In fact it's pretty cool. Thank you for the clarification that this isn't a BETA and also the fullscreen option.

For your courteous reply and the fact that it is a fun shooter, I've upgraded my rating to 7.

Best,
Vlad

PS: Looking forward to more games from you.

Okay, a few things to note:

1. This is a BETA - This was NOT made clear
2. The only thing "proceedurally generated" are the enemies' patterns.
3. Why full mouse control wasn't implemented is a mystery as games like the Star Defender series from Alawar have been doing mouse control since the mid-2000s.
4. You cannot play in full screen.

Ship model graphics are 2D and I am sorry, but they look like they were designed in Microsoft Paint! I can live with subpar graphics, but the lack of fullscreen AND the WASD instead of mouse control for flight really hurts this game.

Fix the flight options and allow full screen and it would get an 8 from me. Right now, it is a 6 at best.

Hey Vlad!

1. I assure you, this is the final product. My programmer forgot to change the title bar before he left, but the game is completed. I'll see if I can fix that wording to avoid this issue in the future.

2. The enemies patterns and background tiles are both procedurally generated. I'm not sure what else should have been. If you have specific suggestions, please feel free to let us know for future reference!

3. While full mouse control is not implemented, gamepads should be supported. Hopefully this will be a nice alternative if you do not like using the keyboard for movement!

4. You actually can play full screen. All you have to do is check the "Fullscreen" checkbox that is immediately above the sound options. I apologize that this wasn't immediately apparent for you, it really should be right next to the resolution dropdown.

Thank you for your support and feedback, and please let me know if you have any other issues!

Im rather curious on this game. Its a procedurally generated shmup with scaling difficulty and powerups. The latter sounds a bit like Gradius which was heavily based upon precision pattern memorization else you end up in impassable scenarios, yet procedurally generated levels sound more akin to the bullet hell sort of things like Touhou, Cave and the eXceed games.

I tend to score attack these sort of things and I've seen a lot of mechanics so Im curious what sort of powerups are in this title? Bullet canceling tools like the Akai Katana swords? Bullet slowing glyphs like in Trouble Witches? Bullet grazing for stronger shots like in Castle Shikigami ? Various new shots like electricity or different spread patterns like in Raiden?

I really could use some more information. Just what sort of tools can I unlock?

NM your video works if I open it in another browser. Interesting stuff. Seems from the trailer to be a series of powerups involving increased spread and various patterns along with some beams. Looks like it should be fun to hones some reflexes in.
