As the company's founder, let me offer my sincerest apologies for the slowness of production leading up to this, and indeed the cancellation itself.
As those of you who have been following us here and elsewhere throughout the development process will know, many of our deadlines have been pushed back, missed, or forgotten, often without any formal explanation.
What you may not know is the length of time the game has been in production: While the complete team has been working on this game for over a year, I started work on it over three years ago.
The game as it currently stands is not even half-finished, and at the current speed of development, completion of the project simply isn't a realistic goal.
It breaks my heart to call it a day, after investing so much in the project, but Incursion has always been ambitious for a debut title, and it has long been my fear that it would prove just too ambitious.
I wish it came as more of a surprise to me than it does, but for Incursion, this is definitely the end of the road.
I would like to thank you all for your support throughout the game's production, both financially and emotionally. We may not have accomplished what we originally set out to, but without all of you, we couldn't even have made it this far.
So from myself, and everyone else here, thank you all for what has undoubtedly been the most educational, eye-opening, and uplifting venture of my entire life.

While it's hard to judge from such an early beta, Incursion immediately shows great potential, and great execution. The mix between old and new is everywhere: graphics, music, narrative. It may seem odd at first, when you see the neatly cut trees or perfectly round celestial bodies, but it gives a very unique look to the game - not that much of a rarity these days with games using triangles, squares, voxels, and so on with great results, but still very nice; or when the - quite classic at first…

The game asked for some feedback. ...feedback on what? There was barely a game there. I entered my name and a few other intro things, then the "game" ended. Way too early to release anything. Get some work done first.

What the hell's going on?
So basically I bought the soundtrack, Desura confirms my purchase, I do NOT get a receipt, but the Buy becomes Gift so it SHOULD be accepted and I can NOT download the OST (404. With the client AND with two browsers) *OR* send a private message to claim it (no bloody receipt).
It this a scam? Nah, just kidding, but this. is. SERIOUSLY. ******. up. Better fix this quick. :/
I'll let it rest for a day. If I've just been screwed, I'm gonna start rampaging Desura. Seriously. :|
It's a problem coming from the fact that we're doing something Desura isn't strictly speaking designed for. Soundtrack must be downloaded as a ZIP from Desura via a web browser, rather than downloaded by the Desura client.
Sorry for the inconvenience, we're working to make it available on BandCamp in the near future.
Look, as long as the money got to you and didn't vanish and I can listen to that awesome stuff, everything's OK. Problem is: I can't even be sure you DID get the money (no receipt is usually a bad sign). :|
(and it doesn't work in a browser either - I wouldn't be half as mad otherwise - as that would mean the purchase was correctly executed... Maybe I should fire renpy and decompile the whole stuff in the meantime... xD)
We're as much in the dark as you, we can only see information on the number of sales, not specific users who purchased. The guys at Desura have made some changes that should *hopefully* resolve the download problems, but I have no idea if it worked since I can't test it without actually buying a copy of the soundtrack myself.
Even weirder, apparently ONLY the receipt is in limbo. The client gives me the choice between versions "beta" and "beta + soundtrack" (which doesn't download the OST but oh well). That's one nasty bug you've been awaking there. xD
If you go to the beta + soundtrack version on the store or via the web while logged in, it should let you download the OST.
on the site, is shows up properly under "purchased downloads." however, as Hyeron said, downloading from that link doesn't work. simply clicking on it 404's, and right click + save as in firefox downloads a 345 byte file called Incursion_Official_Soundtrack.zip that isn't actually in zip format, rather than the 18.78mb the link purports.
i already got my copy (because Nick is so helpful =)) and am just trying to help out in return.
Hey Hyeron, be sure to let me know what happens. I sent you another message specifying that I need one that includes the best email to respond to you with.
Means a lot that you want the soundtrack, and I will make sure you get your copy as fast as is humanly possible. Thanks.
For anyone experiencing the glitch in the soundtrack download, send me a private message containing a screenshot of your receipt. I will personally send you a zip file of the OST in return. Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for purchasing; it really helps the development of Incursion!
The soundtrack should be showing up under "Purchased Downloads" on the website. It doesn't download via the client. That should make it easier for you to put it where ever you keep your Music.
