This is what we want to do, we want to hear your opinion on the game, and what you think we should change, add, remove, rethink, whatever!
This is your game too!
And frankly it's about time you felt like part of the team.
So, here's a little about each of us to let you get more familiar;

Peter is the so called "brainbox" behind Cube Noir, he worked on this game for a year and a half before enlisting other team members to help him with it. Despite having quite a bit of experience, Peter considers himself a designer rather than a programmer, but since there was nobody else to get the Incursion concept off the ground, he learnt Ren'Py in six months to make it happen. Peter is extremely passionate about games development, and dreams of turning Cube Noir into a modest self-funded company some day. Incursion's story is actually based loosely around an abstract account of Peter's childhood; the anxieties and triumphs that video games brought to his early years.

Brian was second to join Cube Noir. After putting himself forward with a strikingly unique art style and a great deal of passion and enthusiasm for his work, Brian was hired as the team's artist and animator. Brian has been wanting to make games since he was in High School, but was never really a programmer; he came up with a lot of interesting concepts over the years, but ultimately nothing materialised because he didn't know how to make them into something real and playable. For him, Incursion represents an opportunity to create some as awesome and magical as he's always wanted to.

Nick was the final member of the team hired to work on Incursion. Nick has been working as a musician in his free time for years now, with limited success. It only recently occurred to him that video games could be the perfect place to apply his mostly-unrecognised talents, and after a very impressive demonstration piece, he got his first video game composition job at Cube Noir. Since joining the team in February, Nick has composed eight fantastic pieces. For him, Incursion is a chance to break into the games industry; showcasing himself as an incredibly talented musician capable of astonishing things.

Nice game, but the beginning's albeit boring...
To be fair, it's also to serve as a tutorial section. Future levels will have more playing and less explaining. :)
Uhhhhh
This game really doesnt make any sense so I dont know what to rate this for
Also the game is really scripted so thats really weird
Did you ever play any of those old school text based adventures? It's kind of like that, a game that has a story that is dictated by the choices you make throughout.
This is the first bit of the game, a short demo to show how it will play and how the story begins. Lots of events unfold during the story, and it's a really interesting one that Peter's doing a great job with.
Hope that helps out, man! Either way, if it is or isn't your thing, I'm definitely appreciative of you checking it out. I'm the composer of the music, so I like hearing people's thoughts on the project. :)
ok so what is this game about? cause i dont got a clue about this
Just give me a bit of a plot
And is there a turtoral?
i hope so because i dont want to screw up finding what the controls are
Thanks to everyone for the positive responses on the soundtrack! Still working hard on upcoming scenes of the game :)
There's no such thing on the site. I can download either Incursion Beta ZIP (why the hell does it only show mac underneath, btw?) or Soundtrack MP3. This is a black hole for sanity, seriously. xD
See here: En.zimagez.com
Anyway, on the bright side of things, it looks like everything's getting sorted out. Man, I *love* you all. :)
So I actually got the same 404 as you when I tried it out myself, odd. Re-uploading the ZIP right now, hopefully that'll fix it.
The Mac logo is just because of some of Desura's classification quirks, nought we can do about it without making three branches of the soundtrack, which they don't like because it's kinda untidy.
on the site, is shows up properly under "purchased downloads." however, as Hyeron said, downloading from that link doesn't work. simply clicking on it 404's, and right click + save as in firefox downloads a 345 byte file called Incursion_Official_Soundtrack.zip that isn't actually in zip format, rather than the 18.78mb the link purports.
i already got my copy (because Nick is so helpful =)) and am just trying to help out in return.
Hey Hyeron, be sure to let me know what happens. I sent you another message specifying that I need one that includes the best email to respond to you with.
Means a lot that you want the soundtrack, and I will make sure you get your copy as fast as is humanly possible. Thanks.
