I just dont understand it says requires steam to run?? what exactly does that mean. Should steam be running in the background? Can I not actually get the game from desura?? Strange...
It DOESN'T mean a steamkey, i.e. can be activated on steam. It means you DO need to create a steam account and download and install steam(works) in order to run the game (and all that comes with that). Which btw doesn't have an option to disable at startup so runs all the time not just when you want to play the game(unless u use msconfig etc to disable it).
That means that by purchasing game here you simply getting Steam-key and MAYBE someday, if developer decide to release standalone version and put it here you may use it.
Okay guys this is NOT a rip off of dungeon keeper. THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING. This is a half-assed incomplete game. Enemies come down with "LADDERs" which make designing chokeholds useless. Workers are basically free for you. Your own units don't even go EAT themselves which means AI is BRAIN DEAD e.g. walk NEXT to an enemy thing, they don't attack (your units). Dungeons with chests MAY spawn a very very powerful enemy. No point in moving units since you could WARP them holding RMB and just clicking their squad. You get income by click a place and sending stuff there said squad goes there for like 5 mins and then comes back. Enemy AI doesn't even try to seek out your base AT ALL. Don't buy this game, buy dungeon keeper, it's MUCH MORE FUN

Be warned this is not Dungeon Keeper.
It's basically a half-arsed RTS, with lots of annoying wack-a-mole gameplay.
Does someone else having problems to install this game?
Every time i click on Install, it stops with the following error:
"Error in MCF download: All server connections failed.
Please check you are connected to the internet
and try again or check console for more info. [59.0]"
Fixed:
Donloaded the CD-Key from Secure.desura.com and installed it in steam. ô.o
