Hubris is a singleplayer experience in the same vein as Dear Esther or The Graveyard in that it strives to provoke a set of emotions through minimalist mechanics. Hubris, in particular, attempts to instill a sense of the sublime. The technique attempted to evoke this feeling is a gradual escalation of scale and scope, so that at each subsequent turn the player says "wow."
Sites have posted about Hubris, my response to its response, and a potential future.

I'd had the file sitting around for some time and figured I should try widening its audience a download or two when I uploaded it here. It's just a standalone level, after all, and there's not much to it. But apparently releasing it here was a good idea!
In any case, some people have been asking for a more polished future release with more content and a menu interface. I'd personally like to see it released in a more manageable file size, though I think this is currently a limitation of UDK. However, at the moment I'm busy with other projects and activities (mainly university) so I've not considered a future release. But spring break approaches, who knows how I could make use of that time?
