Hey, I'm Joel Bergman, Lead Designer of Homeland: Elements of Chaos. This game has been a pet project of mine for the past couple years and I have been developing it along side a small group of very talented artists and designers in Indianapolis, IN. The game's story is centered around a teenage boy named Martyn who grew up in a small village, working as an apprentice to his uncle, the blacksmith. Martyn always lived in the shadow of his father, a great warrior, and longs for an adventure of his own. He finally gets his chance when a mysterious stranger enters the village and tells him of an ancient temple deep in the forest. Martyn sets off in hopes of learning about his father's disappearance and his own adventure.

Homeland is a 3rd person, action adventure game focused around combat and puzzle solving. Martyn will have to battle his way through fierce enemies such as orcs and goblins and solve puzzles based on the four elements to collect ancient stones throughout the temple.
The team behind Homeland consisted of six core members: myself as lead game designer, programmer, character modeler as well as some animation, Dustin Ostrum as lead level designer and in-game script programmer, Nate Moody as art director, Kevin Johnson and Rolando DeCastro as concept artists and animators, Stacia Lowrey as character and weapon modeler and texture artist. Our team was also assisted by Joseph Kemp, our audio engineer and Mark Roebbelen our composer.

Development on Homeland: Elements of Chaos is nearly complete so stay tuned for updates on when you can download it and play it for yourself.
