Hidden Asset is an isometric assassination/stealth game with an emphasis on utilizing high-tech gear and your environment to avoid detection. As you progress through the game, new equipment will be purchasable for the money you make. The game takes place in a not-too-distant future devastated by a global economic crisis. In this world, corporations are no longer under control of the law. Or morals. They will do whatever it takes to get rid of the competition, including hiring corporate assassins. You are such an assassin. Working for whoever hires you. Killing whoever they tell you to. You will infiltrate businesses. Shoot up offices. Assassinate CEOs. It’s all just business. But it will soon become much more than that...

Somebody call the cops! Okay, let me just do some scripting and stuff...

On the game's first map/mission, the stealth mechanic hasn't been introduced yet, so the police that show up on that map are scripted to do so -- just to introduce to the player that they can and will. In the following maps, the stealth mechanic is in effect, so the police will show up and take up positions outside the building's entrance if the player's stealth level drops to 0%.

So in this video, I designate the paths for the police cars to follow when arriving on map 2, and I also do a bit of scripting and programming. The programming part is actually adding the functionality in my homebrew scripting language to even allow the script to react when the player's stealth reaches a certain level.
