Hex Claim is a turn based game currently under EARLY development. It plays like a cross between a Board Game and a civilization expansion game. You start at the edge of a map of hexagon tiles. Each map has multiple tiers of hexagon tiles. Each tile is of a different type that can be captured in the pursuit of victory. Tiles are primarily captured by buying them with resources. The tiles in turn then provide income based upon what type they are. On top of this each type of tile can be built upon. The buildings enhance the tile by producing more of a specific type of resource. You may only buy tiles that are next to a tile you already own. Each Tier on the map cost more resources to purchase and return more resources to those who own them. Along with the tiles and buildings are Bonus Cards. Bonus cards are cards that can be picked up by the player and can then be played by them. These cards range from providing bonuses to the player to providing harm to opposing players.

Update #2 - Dev Progress

News

Hi Again,

In the last week a lot of work has been done on preparing and updating the game for future work. A few new features have been added.

Firstly here is a bit of a current gameplay video. Remember it is still in pre-alpha.

New Stuff

Action tracking - This allows you to see what actions have been performed by other players. Clickable to focus on the player and or tile the action took place.

Basic Player Stats - The beginning of player stats has also been added. This is to allow you to see what resources other players have. Help you to choose who to use your cards on or who might be ahead of you.
Clickable to focus on the player.

Small touches - Things like making the starting towns have little animated crowns above them so you can see them easier.

Basic Main Menu - Main menu that allows you to set Number of players, map size an levels(tiers).

Couple of new Models for trees and buildings. A lot of extra stuff behind the scenes.
