Demo for Heart&Slash;, the 3D roguelike brawler, showcasing the first level and the tutorial.
But not all robots are the same. Maybe a result of faulty wiring, there are some willing to stand for themselves, to resist conformity and find their identity.
This bleak lifeless world doesn't cut it. You are Heart and you want MORE.You want to become so unique and dashing that nobody will dare look away from you.
YOU WANT TO BE LOVED...
HEART&SLASH; is a fast paced brawler with roguelike elements, inspired in equal parts by Bayonetta, Megaman and ADOM. It is also a throwback to our earlier years as gamers, when playing games was all joy...
Started as a personal part-time project (you can follow the development process here), Heart&Slash; has grown into something bigger than initially intended. From a one-man project, it soon became clear that a bigger team is required to make it the game it deserves to be.
During the last couple weeks we have been working hard on polishing the bosses and integrating the new tutorial (and the beginning of the quest system) into the game.
Now that the game has a tutorial and is friendlier towards first time players, we have released a public demo for Windows Mac and Linux. If you were interested in Heart&Slash;, but weren't able to join Early Access or to support us in Kickstarter, now you can try first hand what we are up to.
The demo contains the first level (out of three) plus the tutorial, so it's a sizeable (and representative) chunk of what the whole game will become.
This is a far cry from the previously released public versions in terms of content and finish, so we hope you enjoy it.
We also want to take this oportunity to reming you to VOTE FOR US AT THE IndieDB AWARDS. We don't think we have any chance of winning (many great games out there!) but if you like us and think we deserve the vote, please do!
And remember, shall you want to experience everything we have implemented until now, you can join our Early Access...
