Gundam RTS is a free RTS game. It uses the Spring game engine and is currently in production. I make periodic releases and the game is very playable. It focuses on the one year war story which means no super mechs or effeminate boys. Just anime style humanoid robots shooting each other A LOT.

Post news Report RSS In case you missed it, the 2 video blogs.

Apparently these videos went unnoticed.

In my last news post, I asked you guys what you wanted as far as a video blog type post. Seems many of you had questions AND wanted to see the next version. Not really what I wanted to do but I tried to give you guys 2 videos both showing the dev build as it was at that point and answer your questions.

I apologize for the lack of editing, due to my lack of experience doing these things it took me a whole evening to get these two takes without flubbing words :P.

I hope this answers many questions and sorry if I am unclear, I am very new to this sort of thing but hey, it can only get better right?

These videos aren't bad, Smoth.

You might note that other games released by people with mod experience follow the same guidelines with community produced maps - see Killing Floor, and ignore the fact that they run paid contests and release the products as core maps.

I think you hit your stride in the second video. You might want to mention the focus on free-for-all and team battles - that information supports the critique of the expansion mechanic and slippery slope.
