Hi everyone! Welcome to Grind Day.
This whole game idea was born from our need to scratch an itch as a game developers. To do a retro inspired game not only with pixel art sprites and animations but some nostalgia fueled nineties related game born from the countless hours that we spent playing arcade patformers, shooters and sport (Yeah Tony Hawk... You got it) games while listening to punk rock on the old Playstation console. We as a company have been working on advergaming and educational games for a long time now and we rarely get to do a game that excite us on a deep personal level so we decided that it is time to make games waaay more Indie.
Grind Day started as a personal project of mine (Javier, game designer, pixel artist... Hi there!) to do a really simple and fast paced endless runner game called "Late Nineties Skater Punk vs the Robots" full of references to that era pop culture... But that ended being just a prototype for what we are working on now. The game has grown and improved in almost every aspect and it will keeping improving... I can promise :)
