Garry’s Mod is a sandbox mod for the Source Engine. Unlike normal games there aren't any predefined aims or goals. Players are given tools and are left to entertain themselves. The player is in a world where objects can be created and destroyed on demand. Where people can be created and destroyed with the click of a mouse. A world made for him. A world he made.

This update fixes various bugs that led to crashing on some machines such as with NPC Barnacles and Metro Police. It also adds various Lua hooks for coders such as for exiting vehicles.

To keep ragdoll posers smiling the Team Fortress 2 ragdolls can now be fingerposed and the fingerposer itself has had its UI accuracy improved.

TF2 props are also much more usable due to some new code. A big thanks to Nickolas George for various fixes to player models and steer animations that should be especially pleasing to roleplayers.

Constructors and NPC warmakers will be pleased to hear that no longer do you get a face full of lead each time you spawn a NPC turret as they now spawn facing away from you!

You don't need to do anything, as usual, as it should update the next time you start Steam up once the update has been confirmed.

I'm sure there'll be a thread up about it on Facepunch any time soon for people to discuss the new patch.
