Demo release of the 1.3.2 version; the changes over version 1.3 are mostly translation fixes and the inclusion of a language selection menu.
Frogatto & Friends is a classic-style 2d adventure game, starring a certain quixotic frog. Frogatto is a side-on "platformer" or "jump and run" game, where you lead the titular character on a humdrum errand that turns into a daring adventure. Frogatto's key mechanic is an unusual twist; like any frog, he jumps, swims, and snags bugs with his tongue, but unlike any frog before him, can spit those bugs out with deadly force. Not merely an action game, frogatto is a full, classic adventure game, with characters to talk to, things to buy, puzzles to solve, and a wide, complex world to explore.
Frogatto & Friends is currently in the process of getting included in Valve's Steam platform.
Approval requires some huge support from the players, and every vote counts!
We're trying to take the next version, v4, to Steam - here's a teaser of what's to come:
That and any future versions will be coming to Desura at the same time, of course!
We're committed to always have DRM-free releases, and being on Desura has been a great experience for us.
Highest Rated (4 agree) 9/10
It's a sad truth that few great games emerge from the FOSS community: Frogatto is indisputably one of them. The game looks and sounds good and controls well, the levels are well-designed, the story and characters are quirky... It's hard to find fault with it really, except perhaps with how easy to low keys down holes :-/

@avarisclari bah, that's not nearly as fun. Sometime this summer, I'd say.

Other Greenlight pages that launched on Aug 2012 might be better off relaunching, maybe? Time on 1st page higher now. T.co

@LewieP not the genre in the example, but JRPGs have taken some steps back on the cinematography when large portraits became the norm, eh?
