NOTE: This game is currently in development. Some features already exist, others are being worked on, and others are yet to come. Please consider this, thank you.

FreeMiner.Net is a game, which is inspired in its visuals mostly by Infiniminer. The game's intention is not to copy any visually similiar game. It will become an RPG-Maker in which you can create your own quests.
In its core, the game is settled in a Post-WW3 scenario like Metro 2033, STALKER or Fallout 3, just to name a few.

Within FreeMiner.Net, you are able to:

  • fight mobs in PvE mode
  • fight other players in PvP mode
  • design own worlds
  • design own quests within your worlds
  • share those quests - let all your server's attendees play them
  • share your worlds - everything is within one portable, reasonably small file
  • play Arena-styled battles
  • put different enemy types in
  • apply different gameplay rules
  • alter the gameplay altogether
  • create automated backups of your worlds - restore the world to any existing backup
  • manage your server with a very userfriendly and easy-to-use server frontend (windows only)

Bottom line, you may create your own MMO/RPG within this game. This is a very ambititous project, but progress is guaranteed to be done, and the game will definitely see a release.

Hmmm... Yes... yet another voxel based building game....

Inspiration is fine. But when you go so far as to copy the HUD, that's a clone.

A lot of you guys are making fun of this game for being a knock off of Minecraft. Who cares? it probably wont grow as big as Minecraft anyways (no offence to the developers). And if it does, again who cares? Fps after fps are copies of the one before, like Call of duty, battlefield ect and really, why should it bother you? it's not like you're the one playing it, so it shouldn't matter to you. anyways i think that game is looking cool even the though it resembles Minecraft, and who knows? maybe in the end it will be completely different than Minecraft. maybe it will be a free game or you'll be able to go to space or something... (hint hint to the developers)
