Hey everyone, here is a little featurette we created for the release of our pre-order Alpha on Desura.
It shows our Paris level available in the Alpha, as well as some gameplay. As you can expect, this being an Alpha, a lot is still missing, but it will give you a better idea of where we are heading with Fray.

REMINDER: There is an issue with X86 Windows. Players with Windows XP32bit / Windows Vista 32bit /Windows 7 32Bit won't be able to play. Working to resolve this issue ASAP.
Is there somewhere (in your forums, perhaps) where I can find what you have planned to implement in future releases? What is the priority? etc. so that I might see what will be added to the game.
And possibly make suggestions accordingly, if you encorouge/support that of course?

-4 player games (FFA and Team games),
-Redesign of the maps to enhance fight speeds,
-New environments,
-Less bugs (obviously!),
-Experience system and credits to enhance your team and earn new weapons and equipment,
-Performance optimization,
-and much more (achievements, faction loyalty, game modes...)!
We also discuss with Alpha players on our website's "super secret alpha forums" about upcoming features, current features, balance, what should be changed and suggestions.

This game looks very interesting. Bought it as soon as I saw the line: "multiplayer simultaneous turn-based strategy".
Unfortunately I can't find any games (And no one joins my games)... I've tried many different times across the day.
IMO this games NEED somekind of AI. I haven't seen any gameplay despite having the game installed for 48+ hours and launching it 20+ times. I'm not asking for the best AI ever seen... Just something that actually let me play the game.
Other than that... I would like to se a "Remember user/password" option for the login screen.

Hi WakeyBakey, as the launch of Fray is just a few days old, we still have only few players online at a time (especially, just idly waiting for a game.). However we often have our players talking with us in our chatroom, and always happy to join a game.
We also have our testing sessions on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoon, where most players join to Fray together, and we have a much bigger turn-up there.
This will of course get better as time goes on!

I was just expecting a few games going most of the time... Usually quite a few players buy/play alphas here on Desura.
I definitely haven't regret throwing some money after this game. This genre deserve all the support it can get.
All players connect to our own dedicated server, so you don't have to worry about hosting your own game. Currently most players find a game partner by joining our chatroom on Fray-game.com , were a few people hang around. This is the very beginning of the Alpha (2 days old!), so it is a growing community, with each day, new players to join the fray!
