It's been too long, but version 2 is finally here!
Formally version 1.2, this update had such a multitude of changes and additions that 1.2 did not justify it all. Version 2 of First Pixel Shooter adds hours of playtime to the already existing gameplay - a new wave based 'Survival Mode', Time Attack mode, cheats, new guns, new Arena maps, ability to publish custom levels as Arena maps, and much more.
Hopefully all problems have been fixed, though this version may be unstable. Nevertheless, I hope you'll enjoy.
Only could play through this once. After my first launch the program reported problems when I exited. Each time I try to run it now it loads without the title graphics, much of the gui is missing, and in game I see the map from an overhead perspective. Apparently what I am seeing is the game running without 3d graphics. From what I was able to play it was enjoyable. Things I would fix would include: Getting stuck on 3d objects, enemies that don't always face the player, and tweaking the graphics. I like the idea of a pixel/retro FPS but work on a central theme or style.
Thanks for the report, I have no idea what would cause that though. I'll look into it.
