Fantasy MMORPG Project (with still unknown name) is a large scale fantasy game, which is planned to be on
PC, mobile tablet and hopefully consoles. Game is an adventure, action and story based world, where players
can freely live and developer their character as they want. Medieval period atmosphere, multiple land and
continent world.
Main focus is to combine mature world reality and game as much as possible, but still for it to be enjoyable,
interesting and unique. Containing the harsh reality, yet, implement fantasy aspects, events and story
segments, so the world would feel natural and realistic. There will be no hard stamped separation between
default classes or races, players will be able to level and improve whatever they want and need. Magic and
spells will also take affect, but such over the natural power skills will be much more harder to improve,
comparing to others games. So magic and it's rulers would naturally be rare and exotic.
Current main goal is the kickstarter. Continuing developing this project to state,
in which users will be able to see the idea and philosophy of this game.
Visualized main game mechanics, progression, combat system and why it's worth playing.
After i will have recorded videos, visual trailer or demo of this project,
i will submit the project to kickstarter.
I realized, that I am almost not using the networking platform I've chosen, all Room, User, logic grid, and server side logic is mostly my own implemented, on top of their API, which i barely use.
So why should I continue using it?
I had to use large amounts of unneeded CPU processing & memory usage (simply speaking) , and other nasty things.
I have specific needs and vision on how it must work, so, couple days ago it thought, why cant i create my own server?
I will continue to work on it till minimum requirements are met, if succeeded, i will create c# API for Unity engine (client side) and transfer my project to my own, networking platform.
How does the progress of the game go?

looks cool
uo2?
I've never played it, but the camera sure looks more orthographic and zoomed out. Also, the graphics are 2D sprites, It's only a 3D illusion. This project is fully 3D.
But it sure shares the oldie nostalgic feeling.
Like the idea. Would love to see more.
