Team members come and team members go, some just don't have time and others loose motivation.
If you're still asking if we're dead? No way, if you're asking why we're updating this indieDb entry once every half year then I can answer : I'm just lazy at updating blogs.
Where are we at the current stage?
I can tell you I got to a point where I created a perpetual competitive self-sustaining pointless machine. The idea involves a vehicle bay, mineral tree that grows collectible minerals and finally harvesters.. lot's of harvesters. Making the vehicle bay construct infinitely harvesters causes this awesome method work, every newly constructed harvester will start directly gathering and bring back the yummy minerals which will then be transformed into credits and used to build the next harvester. After an hour, this ended up in at least 70 harvesters all waiting around the 'mineral tree' waiting for a new mineral to be created, once one appears the whole area becomes a harvester-war where every single harvester would push another trying to get that one dumb mineral, the more harvesters there were the more challenge it brought to every harvester. Not only gathering was hard, but getting out of the whole harvester hungry field wasn't simple either. All that was of course fun to watch :)
This whole story brings me to this :
We're changing our project to HARVESTER-WARS !
Harvester-Wars, a game inspired by EA's C&C4's genius ideas. You can't build anything, you can't control, you can only watch ! Yes, join with hundreds of players around the world and discuss on how great your harvesters... harvest. We'll be introducing full DLC technology where you'll have to pay 0.50$ per game and unlocking new skins require an additional small payment of only 1.00$ !
Harvester-Wars, coming soon to your local Origin store. ( DRM included in order to prevent players hackers from playing normally )
For a bit more updated ( but less informative ) news, check out my blog : www.RageEffect.com
Back to seriousness : we're doing fine, and the game is still progressing nicely. Also, my jokes suck :P

i dont understand are you trying to remake redalert or tiberium dawn? great game btw
The maps sort of remind me of Total Annihilation, not that that's a bad thing obviously. I'm tracking this good luck with your project :)
Thanks.
The maps will however look way better in later stages of development.
The map seen in the current screenshots is simply a test map ;)
Sooooooooo nice! When will we play it?
Once we're sure that the game is worth being released to the public.
In other words: When it's done! :D
"Gameplay lost in the old Command & Conquer series that Electronic Arts has failed to pick up on"
like what?
SIMPLICITY of course !
OH GOD TRACKING!
What's the engine you're using?
My own custom one using XNA =)
But it doesn't mean that I'm limited to it, I might port it to a more multi-platform framework in the future =)
