Excalibur breaks the mould of traditional space simulation games by putting the player firmly in the boots of an experienced Starfleet captain. From the outset you will be able to control your character and command your ship as if you were standing on the bridge yourself. From taking direct control of the helm, to transferring command of any ship in your task force, or even calling your senior staff to the briefing room to discuss mission tactics; Excalibur is the most immersive Star Trek experience ever. Set six months after the events in Star Trek: Nemesis, Excalibur's story mode deals with the turbulent political scene caused by a decade of war and turmoil. From the second Borg incursion in First Contact, to the fall of the Dominion and the collapse of the Romulan political system; these events resulted in huge loss of life and changed the Alpha Quadrant forever.

Hi everyone!

Continuing our theme of voice acting, today we are releasing our own in-house tutorial focused on recording your voice for in-game application!

During the process of fan submissions we received many enthusiastic amateurs! The biggest challenge however was trying to work individually with many people from a complete first-time situation. The aim of the tutorial is to give people a guideline of how and what to use to achieve the best possible recordings at home. This will take a big load off post-processing the clips to clean them up, adjust volumes, etc. Plus, it's a real treat to see how a professional goes about doing it.

Created by Ben B, one of our original and very talented voice-over actors! Ben comes from a background of theatre and voice-over work, and is a classically trained actor.

The tutorial video outlines the basic necessities of attaining quality recordings at home by using readily available hardware and software. So if you've ever wanted to try your hand *ahem* voice at some voice-over work or are looking to improve on something you've already done, then
this tutorial is definitely a must!

Enjoy the video and we look forward to hearing the results, literally!

A big thanks to Ben B for taking the time to create this video for everyone, and to Nejc, our newest PR member who put the polish on the video, enjoy!
