A platformer/shooter with emphasis on exploration, ala the Metroid series. Development began as a test to see what I could do with Game Maker, and expanded from there.

Sent you a PM.

Btw I finally beat it and it was AWESOME.

To add to the PM I sent you, I'd request a flashlight. Especially for the dark areas where you can barely see anything, like the new right-most lab. Where one is supposed to fall, I accidently jumped over it and then went back because I thought it was a dead-end. This caused me to get confused and lost on where to go next.

Thanks for the feedback man!

Flashlight idea is cool (and probably easy to do), and I will DEFINITELY be widening that pit haha. I worried about people missing that!

Well, this one is a pleasant surprise. You've got a great game shaping up here - it's just different enough from Metroid to feel like its own thing, and very polished. It definitely deserves more love, so I did a quick writeup about it for Indie Game Magazine. Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for the article and kind words. I somewhat regret not being more original in the gameplay department, but I really wanted to replicate that Super Metroid feeling that I love.

I'm glad that you thought I was successful in the atmosphere and story side of things. I have many, many ideas on what I would look to do in the future, but whether or not I manage to actually implement them is another question. It's amazing how quickly time flies by!

Thanks again for the article.

Game reviewer here. The art (especially the color palette is awesome). I'll give this a go.
