Description

Etkiina is a heavily story-driven and choice-based adult fantasy role playing game. Set in an unforgiving, exotic world, the player is to defy diplomacy and take up arms to join the battle, whilst uncovering the secrets of the cursed nine. Heavily inspired by games such as The Witcher and Morrowind, the player will be able to talk and trade with NPCs, interact with them to make them angry, charm them, complete quests and even join NPCs clans. With many choices, based on dialog options, the game will support multiple endings based on the player-driven narrative and the actions taken in the world. Player creativity is one of the primary focuses of the gameplay mechanics, and players will have the freedom to define the ongoing story as they see fit; you are no hero straight out of the box, but you can certainly be one if you so wish. You can also be a shady creature who fades into the background without being seen, forgotten by all. Collecting loot and gathering intel whilst on dangerous quests will be essential for developing the playable character. Players will need to apply all their knowledge and ressources to solve critical situation and quests.
