ASTRAY is a first person survival horror game. This is my first attempt at making a game. The game is still in development and I am making this game alone so its taking quite a while. I have uploaded a couple of ingame screenshots and a little demo that I put together so you can get a feel of the game. Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2 is supported, but not optimized and might bug out. The demo size is quite big, 1gb. Sorry about that. Try it out if you want to. Feedback of any kind, whether its good or bad is highly appreciated. Since there arent really any intro to the game yet, ill explain the plot as I have imagined. You are taking your dog Trigger for a hike in the forest. As the sun settles down and the night awakes something catches Triggers attention and he runs off. You start running after him, trying to call him back. This is where your adventure starts.

Nice graphics, great atmosphere, this game have potential and i'm looking forward to its release. My only concern is about the ennemies, I hope they will be more orginal/subtle than zombies or Gollum-like creatures like suggested in the demo...

Is it realy that hard to rebind key controls with unreal engine?
It is not first game created with U4 that lack ability to rebind controls to personal liking.

I wonder what is reason for this, all of them started from same template and rebinding controls is not included in template ?

Simple thing that was in games by default for about 30 years or more is no longer possible with modern game engine in 21st century ?

I played just couple of minutes, so I cant tell much about for rest of game, but it have nice spooky atmosphere, thunder and flashes strikes when you least expected making you jumpy even without any danger nearby.

All in all, game have some potential, it is still early in developmet and there is a chance to improve it until final release.

Thanks for your feedback. Sure it`s possible to rebind keys to your own liking. I just havent gotten around to fix it yet since it`s not a priority at this moment. Some other settings like sound etc are not fixed either. This is mainly because im learning unreal engine as im making the game. As for the final release I can promise you that the game will have a much more polished menu system.
