Engines of War brings you nonstop Real Time Tactics action from the first second of the game: You are the pilot of one of the massive combat vehicles known as "Engines". Lead it (and lesser units) into battle together with your team - and destroy your enemies and their base! Engines is inspired by DotA's gameplay, but freely redistributable and modifiable content on the Spring Engine.

Just a quick update on progress so far:

The project head Sean has disappeared and I can only assume after last speaking with him that he does not desire to continue work, which because of his duties as the LUA coder put the project's development on hold. However; a bright young Canadian, SkyStar has volunteered to work on the LUA code, so work can once again resume.

Since Sean left there has been some discussion among the team on game concept, and we have decided that the game will no longer be a scenario DotA-esque Real Time Tactics game limited to one map, but instead will be more flexible focusing on MP not so much an in-depth story (don't worry that can always come later) allows for use of most Spring Engine Maps, and it will remain a DotA -esque team tactics game that the project has always revolved around.

More new releases will come as the changed game plan becomes more solid, and we have a more secure time line and more progress to show off.

Thanks for everyone's patience and support,
