The new survival horror game, Emily Wants To Play hit Steam Greenlight 5 days ago and is now at the number 90 position of 1,681 games in the Steam Greenlight program. It still needs more votes to get the green light.
I am still working on the game full time. At the moment I am working on the AI of the doll s and emily. So far the creepy dark haired doll is moving through the house correctly, turning the lights off and closing doors. She will also attack you if you are in the same room with her, but you have a few seconds to determine how to get away or get her to leave.
Many events are also ready and working in game. The dolls are very active and mischievous. You will sometimes see them sitting around the house or hear them scampering around. Doors creak open slowly, lights cut out, things fall over and sometimes the dolls may write you a message on the dry erase board in the kitchen.
Once the AI and events are done, I will polish the game graphics and story more. I will adjust the lighting, add or remove items, and add more storyline items. Then I need to test test test and tweak tweak tweak to get it just right. I want to keep players tense and in suspense as much as possible.
