Ecotone is
a single-player platform game with an evolving gameplay which allows brainwork
and/or skill phases.
The game’s
primary focus is to invite the gamer in a new kind of world, characterized by a
unique, dreamlike and mysterious atmosphere.
In the strange Ecotone’s world, the gamer embodies a little weird character without a real identity. As the character succeeds each level, he will win some new skills. But beware, the environment is full of strange creatures and monsters, and some of them may be dangerous. Each level is based on a sentence, which is the key to solving the riddle.

After a moment without new, it’s time to sum up the
situation of our project. There is a lot of work to do yet but we’re fairly
closed to the end. That’s why we’ve decided to launch a Steam Greenlight
campaign.
The website
Ecotone has its own website, which wouldn’t see the light of day without Guillaume Maurin
(programming), and Alexandre Bourdier (design). Thanks to them, we’ve got a
nice website where you can find more information about the game and the
universe: speech, trailer, music, goodies and a game demo. Do not hesitate to
share it: www.ecotonegame.com
The Game demo
People can vote on Greenlight , but we think it’s logical to make them try directly the game demo.
That’s why our website offers a demo with 6 levels on the 45 levels of the finished game. We made a
specific choice of these levels in order to demonstrate quickly the learning curve of the
first world: the demo starts with the levels 1 and 2 softly, then level 5 (you
can jump now) and the 6, the 9 and finally level 12. If you want, we advise you to play with a
pad, it’s funnier (you can use an expadder like for this).
Greenlight
All right, we do not have too many illusions, but who tries nothing has nothing. And in the
worst case, it’s an opportunity to publicise the game.
If you want to give us a treat, you can vote YES for Ecotone !
Thank you!

Hello, first thanks you for your vote ! For the price, we don't know because it's depend on steam. But it will be cheap for sure !
Oh great, I did not know that Ecotone was on indieDB too !
Watching you !
Wow, I really like what I'm seeing here! Please keep it up, Jol. I will eagerly await Ecotone's release!
Thanks you, this kind of comment is very motivating for us!
I also like the art work, and overall the game seems like good fun.
About the press, well you guys know that usually the big websites tend to ignore a lot of the independent projects. Other websites, well sometimes they don't even take time to get to know independent projects, or they focus to much on consoles etc.
In my opinion the game has potential to be fun and visually it looks great. The main character to me looks like the lost son of death. hehe
I hope you guys get your funding
The artstyle is great. Also your animations are really polished. Keep it up!
Thanks you for our 2D artist !
Hi, thanks! Unfortunatly Adobe AIR is no longer supported for Linux. But we hope we will be able to publish a Linux version with Stencyl 2.5.
Yes, that was pretty sad when they announced it. Glad to hear that it won't prevent us to play Ecotone!
