Affter lots of talking we decided to take a new engine, It's not that we don't like unity. Unity is great and friendly engine, however we think UE3 fits more for Duke Nukem project.
Also lots of people ask's us about gearbox all the time well here is what we have to say about that:
First of all, this is a fan game, this is not a "Big Budget" Commercial game, it will be a small ambitious fan game made from fans for fans... Its nothing more than a fan project as tribute to DN franchise... We still won't talk about gearbox or anything related, I don't think they are even intrested in fan projects. When time comes and if we need we will talk with them, but as i sad earlier, this is a fan game made for community, its not some big hit, Just a small video game. We have big respect for Gearbox and we love their work from depths of our hearts same goes for Duke Nukem.
