Don't Be Dinner is an interactive piece of fiction where you are a medieval knight approaching a monstrous troll in a dark forest. Whether you are blue, yellow, or green, quest to save the princess, steal the troll's gold, or simply determine the meaning of life, two choices decide your fate. With 45 different endings and dozens of ways to die, two choices were never more important. Your quest is simple: Don't Be Dinner.

Update information about audio and the introduction of the Yellow Knight!

Welcome back delicious readers to another update for Don't Be Dinner. So what's new?

- Yellow Knight: The Yellow Knight was introduced in the latest screenshot which you can view below. The quote should give you a hint around what he's trying to shake out of the troll...

Introducing the Yellow Knight!

- Yellow Knight Audio: The audio for Yellow has been about 90% implemented with only a few sound effects left to add. All of his audio is completely recorded and mixed so it's just a matter of getting it into the right cue spots.

- Next Knight Audio: The audio for the next knight is currently being recorded, watch for his introduction around the time it gets mixed and implemented.

And finally, there has been a lot more consideration around the performance of the game going forward. The number of particles and render distance was creating a crippling frame-per-second count on powerful mobile devices such as the Windows Surface Pro (version 1). Don't Be Dinner has a very dramatic visual style and we are making sure every move going forward is considering the best performance while maintaining the artistic direction of DBD.
