You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. Release version and manual is available now. Manual can be downloaded from Illwinter's web page.
A thousand seas with a thousand islands. This map is specifically designed for a full set of UW nations. Two versions included. It has 56 + 80UW provinces and 9-11 players and has 33 + 60UW provinces for 5-7 players. Fully wrap around.
Just wondering, will you ever add a version with ports/docks for those who want archipelago maps but don't want to play as UW nations?
It was specifically designed for a all UW nations game, most islands are connected on the large map by a cave network. Works with amphibian nations decently well. Still you run into the water/land province ratio.
However I could make a more island based map with a port system.
Would be glad if you did, but I wouldn't mind if you didn't and redirected me instead to some archipelago maps you know about, as I haven't had much luck in finding any until I got notified by ModDB about this one being uploaded. In any case, thank you in advance.
I sadly don't know any hidden gems. Might make a more island based map, what size are you thinking off?
How about one with a. 12 players with a nice mix in land and water nations ^^
Anything that would fit 6 to 8 Land Factions and how many UW ones you'd prefer, really: Arcoscephale, Ermor, Ulm, Marverni, Pangaea, Ur and Berytos are usually the ones I put in my games personally because I like setting up matches that are as similar as possible to the real-life pre-medieval ages and archipelago maps are the ones that remind me the most of the mediterranean, which is why I bothered you with my request. Again, sorry for bringing this up and thank you in advance if and when you decide to make a map with ports.
Alright, a dozen players, at least half of them land nations. I might work on something fast during the holidays, no promises though, might be a long term project. Already got several map projects on my plate.
Don't feel sorry to make a respectful request man, nothing wrong with that.
