This was the compiled version we used for the UDK showcase. The version previous to this one had a different main character model and only had the floating...
Nice stuff.
We are working our butts off on Diyu & Mythrai. Essentially this is what is left to do for Diyu.
1. Finish intro cut scenes and main menu
2. Redesigned enemies 80% COMPLETED
3. Animate redesigned enemies
4. Main character motion capture
5. Construct and complete more missions and levels
6. Testing

this game will be free?
Undecided...
Originally we made this for our senior project, then continued it for the UDK showcase and for our portfolios.
I would love to make it free but lets face it, we all have bills. So I really can't say as of now. I can tell you however that there will definitely be a demo and considering it's an indie game if we do decide to sell, it would be low cost.
Hahaha.... You people are funny...
First of all I would like to thank everyone that has taken an interest in us since last August when we starting this little project. I can not tell you how much Andrew and I appreciate it.
Currently we are back from taking a 5 month break from the project. We intend to continue Diyu but a lot still needs to be done.
What you currently see is our game after 2 months of research and 4 months of development.
What is Left?
1. Fine tune or create new animations for main character.
2. Construct and complete more missions and levels.
3. Refine story and redo cut scenes.
4. Testing and distribution.

Other than some stiff animations it looks really good, I fear that the aforementioned animation problems really let the whole quality of the game down. im sure its something you can work on as a way to really improve the quality of the game in a relatively short time-frame
Second to that is that some of the sounds are repetitive.
The overall visual style seems mostly consistent. one obvious deviant from the style is the character mesh. but it seems to me that all it lacks is a little grunge on some of the textures :)
other than that game-play looks solid and really good, ideas are more unique than alot of the things coming through the indie-db portal and the 3d models are quite impressive, keep it up :D
