I have been working on the door mechanic. It still needs a lot of fixing and polish, but it's getting there. Here's how it works: if the player is looking at a door, he/she can interact with it by holding the left mouse button and moving the mouse in the appropriate direction. If the player holds the right mouse button while interacting with a door, the character will lean and carefully peek.
